One of the hardest things about representing a nurse before the Board is that anyone can make an allegation against the nurse and report it. Patient Killed Nurse
Louisiana Registered Nurse Lynne Truxillo died on April 11, 2019. At Baton Rouge General Hospital on April 4th, when patient Jessie Guillory attacked one of Lynne’s coworkers, Lynne stepped in and pulled him from the other nurse. Know Your Professional Boundaries
When I was practicing years ago, there were no rules regarding professional boundaries. I took care of people in the community where I lived and everyone knew each other.
