Thank you Lori, This helps me better understand compact. I live in Idaho, and may be working with clients from Wisconsin, Wyoming and Michigan. in fact I currently have a client in Michigan. I have a license currently in Idaho, and have had one in Wisconsin, Nevada, California, Illinois and Arizona. Can I work with clients that do not live in one of the compact states? I’m presuming yes, as long as I do not have discipline in my current state, AND I apply for licensure in the state the client lives. Is that correct?

Thanks for your comments and questions. If you have a compact license, you can see patients in any state that is part of the compact. For states that are not compact states, you need a license in those states to see clients who live or are seen in those states.
