The nursing board’s are very punitive . They can destroy a life without a second thought . If I had a chance to go back nursing would never be a choice of occupation.
So sorry this happened to you . Speaking of AZ , they are worse than this nurses board .
The board is not on nurses side, but they need to have some kind of common sense !

I can completely relate to this, having gone through the disciplinary process. I have also reinvented myself, starting my own company (not related to nursing).
Yolene, if you take volunteers in your business, Nurse’s Court, let me know. I know how horrible it was for me to go through my own disciplinary process, basically alone, and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. If I can work with others of like mind, to help at least one nurse to not feel so alone, it would be awesome.

    Thank you once again.

I am going trough it right now, the BRN destroyed me no matter how much evidence i had. I am ready to hang my hat and figure a way far away from Nursing, i am so sick right now and so discussed, I pretty much overnight nothing left, i don’t even know what else to do.

I was treated unjustly by our college and got turned off the profession and left!! Very disturbing how nurses and nurse practitioners are treated by colleges and boards!! I was a dedicated and strong advocate as a nurse for 10 years and as an NP for 15 years and I went out of the profession by choice but with a final slap in my face by the college on my way out
